Дисертація на здобуття наукового ступеня кандидата історичних наук за спеціальністю 07.00.01 – історія України. – Харківський національний університет ім. В.Н. Каразіна. – Харків, 2001.

   У дисертації на основі аналізу комплексу наявних історичних джерел та історіографічних здобутків досліджено історію Волині в період національно-визвольної та антифеодальної боротьби її жителів – складової частини національно-визвольної війни українського народу 1648-1657 рр. Автором проаналізовано зв’язок активної участі волинян у визвольних процесах з політичними, економічними, соціальними, національно-релігійними передумовами, загальноукраїнським націо-нальним рухом. Досліджено хід, основні етапи, зміст, характерні особливості, розмах, організаційні форми, озброєння, характер, наслідки визвольної боротьби 1648-1652 рр. у Волинському воєводстві та перебіг подій на Волині у 1653-1657 рр. Дисертаційне дослідження розширює знання про регіональні особливості визвольних змагань українського народу і може бути корисним науковцям, викладачам, краєзнавцям, студентам, учням.

   В диссертации на основании анализа комплекса исторических источников и историографических достижений исследована история Волыни в период национально-освободительной и антифеодальной борьбы ее жителей – составной части национально-освободительной войны украинского народа в 1648-1657 гг. Автором проанализирована связь активного участия волынян в освободительных процессах с политическими, экономическими, социальными, национально-религиозными предпосылками, общеукраинским национальным движением. Исследованы ход, основные этапы, содержание, характерные особенности, размах, организационные формы, вооружение, характер, последствия освободительной борьбы 1648-1652 гг. у Волынском воеводстве и события на Волыни в 1653-1657 гг. Диссертационное исследование обогащает научные знания о региональных особенностях освободительной борьбы украинского народа и может быть полезным ученым, преподавателям, краеведам, студентам, школьникам.

Jaroshinsky O.B. Volyn in the periode of the national-liberation movement 1648-1657 year. – The manuscript.

   In this dissertation based on analyse of complex represented by historical sources and achievements it is explored the history of Volyn in the periode of national and antifeudal movement for independence (region Volyn) – this region was the constituent part of whole war for national independence of Ukraine (1648-1657 y.). It is analysed by author the connection of activity of Volyn inhabitants with the liberating processes and with the political, economical, social, national-clerical preconditions, with the whole national movement. It is stressed that in the process of scientifical analyse of sourses as the base, critical examination of the historigraphical results, comparative-historical, logic, statistic analyse of the complex of historical documents, including tax-documents, at the first time in the historical science it is succedeed to explore enough all-round the hitorical process in the Volyn 1648-1657 y. It is explored the process, main stages, the content, characteristic formes, armament, character, the consequences of the struggle for independence in the Volyn in 1648-1652 y., the essentiale points of the after-liberating periode. In the process of analyse of the independent’s struggle it is succedeed to explore 8 following liberating stages (June – 1648 – March 1652 y.), and 6 stages of the Peasantry’s war (Yune 1648 – May 1651 y.) 137 people’s revolts, against feudal system, against the Polonian, Catholics, and Jews, the marches of the Ukrainian arme, the raids of the Cozak and Volyn revolting squadrons in the distance of the 5 thous. cm. In this dissertation it is stressed the meaning of the mutual connection of the national-independent and social factors, the dependence of the results of struggle of Volyn’s inhabitants from the planes of the Ukrainian governement. It is noted that the main factors of the liberating process were the Ukrainian arm and the local insurrection’s movement, and the moving forces were the peasantry and the townpeople supported by the orthodox’s clergy and of the nobility’s-part. On the character it was national-liberating struggle of the Volyn’s natives for the ukrainian independence and the antifeudal movement for the liquidation of the feudal orders. It is generalized still the features of the demographic, economical, fiscal’s catastrophe in the Volyn in the seconde half of the 50-y of XVII century.
   This exploration enlarges our knowledges about the regional peculiarities of the movement for the independence of the Ukrainian people and can be useful, for the science collaborators, teachers, for the country-explorers, students, schoolers.
