   Дисертацію присвячено дослідженню теми епоха й людина в контексті аналізу екзистенціальної парадигми в прозовій і поетичній творчості українських письменників-емігрантів періоду ДіПі (І.Багряний, Т.Осьмачка, Д.Гуменна, Ю.Косач, В.Петров-Домонтович, О.Стефанович, Є.Маланюк, В.Лесич, М.Ситник, О.Зуєвський, Ю.Клен). У роботі розглянуто світоглядні, аксіологічні, естетичні концепції розвитку української літератури, що стали основою художнього та інтелектуально-світоглядного дискурсу повоєнного періоду.
   Проведений у дисертаційному дослідженні аналіз “категорій-екзистенціалів”, провідних екзистенційних мотивів, екзистенціалістських концептів, ідей у творчості українських письменників дає змогу розкрити тему епоха й людина й пов’язану з нею проблематику в контексті розвитку художньо-філософської парадигми в літературі періоду ДіПі, виявити актуалізацію традицій літературного філософування в національному письменстві, його зв’язки з європейськими та світовими літературами.
   Ключові слова: епоха й людина, криза епохи, інтелектуально-світоглядний дискурс, екзистенціальна парадигма, екзистенційні мотиви, апокаліптичні візії, художньо-філософське осмислення, поетична рефлексія, духовний катарсис.

   Диссертация посвящена исследованию темы эпоха и человек в контексте анализа экзистенциальной парадигмы в прозаическом и поэтическом творчестве украинских писателей-эмигрантов периода ДиПи (И.Багряный, Т.Осьмачка, Д.Гумэнна, Ю.Косач, В.Петров-Домонтович, О.Стефанович, Е.Маланюк, В.Лесич, М.Ситник, О.Зуевский, Ю.Клэн). В работе рассмотрены мировоззренческие, аксиологические, эстетические концепции развития украинской литературы, ставшие основой художественного и интеллектуально-мировоззренческого дискурса послевоенного периода.
   Проведенный в диссертационном исследовании анализ “категорий-экзистенциалов”, основных экзистенциальных мотивов, экзистенциалистских концептов, идей в творчестве украинских писателей дает возможность расскрыть тему эпоха и человек и связанную с ней проблематику в контексте развития художественно-философской парадигмы в литературе периода ДиПи, выявить актуализацию традиций литературного философствования в национальной словесности, ее связь с европейскими и мировыми литературами.

Vasylyshyn І. P. The Epoch and Human Being in artistic and existential dimension in the literature of DiPi period. – Manuscript.

   The thesis is devoted to investigation on the subject the epoch and human being in the context of existential paradigm analysis in prose and poetic works of Ukrainian emigrant writers of DiPi period (І. Bagrianyi, Т. Osmachka, D. Gumenna, Yu. Kosach, V. Petrov-Domontovych, О. Stefanovych, Ye. Malaniuk, V. Lesych, M. Sytnyk, О. Zuyevskyi, Yu. Кlen). In this work were examined world-view, axiological and esthetical concepts of Ukrainian literature development, which had became the basement of artistic, intellectual and world-view discourse of after-war period.
   Polemics as to the ways and prospects of Ukrainian literature development consists in the yearning for preservation of national base of Ukrainian literature and, at the same time, integration into European and world literature process, having conserved the national identity promoting the nation-formation mission of Ukrainian literature. Traditional artistic and new modern models defined the creative work of Ukrainian post-war authors, either contradicting or having joined complementing each other, creating the synthesis of traditional and modern motives in immigration literature of the DP period. The ideas of “tragic optimism”, “tragic stoicism” served as the world outlook ground for creative activity of variety of artists, which in the synthesis of ideas of “philosophic existence” defined the ideological and topical basis of artistic works different by their genre, style (from realism to modernism), and esthetics. The topic of “the epoch and a human" was in the lead in the works of Ukrainian writers. It put emphasis on the personality, in particular its inner world, internal psychological aspects of its existence in “critical situation” of epoch crisis, existential feelings (anxiety, fear, despair, loneliness, alienation, suffering, hope) and person’s behavior in critical, crisis, disastrous situations, search for and realization of own authenticity, problems of “freedom of choice” and responsibility for his own choice to oneself and others, protest and rebellion of personality against the absurd of “antireligious epoch”.
   The end of ХІХ century – the beginning and the middle of ХХ century was characterized as the period of crisis of rationalistic epoch, which led to technocratization of lifestyle, dehumanization of the latter, which in its turn brought reappraisal of the former ideological and world-view guidelines. The reality of modern epoch required also a modern specificity of artistic works, which balanced on the verge of philosophy, historyosophy, theology and was in constant reflection above the problems of the individual. Тhe subject the epoch and human being, its artistic and philosophic perception, motives, problems bound to it, determined new existential paradigm in works of many emigrant writers, who were different regarding their ideological search, esthetic and artistic nature, style characteristic, genre feature, axiological guidelines but who were similar regarding their common ideological and artistic system – the world of human being, inner “ego”, existence.
   In this work there was carried out analysis of “category-existetials”, leading existential motives, existential concepts and ideas in creative works of Ukrainian writers, which gives us opportunity to uncover the subject the epoch and human being and problems bound to it in the context of artistic and philosophic paradigm development of the literature of DiPi period, discover the actualization of literature philosophy tradition in national artistic writing, its liaisons with European and World literature.
